Thank goodness for the dashcam!


One of the less discussed negative details about rideshare is just how often drivers get assaulted. To put it simply, it’s a lot — or at least we think, as major rideshare companies generally refuse to disclose such data because it’s too scary whenever they do.


To prevent assaults (or at least to seek justice for them), many drivers employ the use of camera systems throughout their vehicles. These aren’t limited to the outside like a dashcam; instead, they can be found throughout the interior of the vehicle, allowing them to capture an incident in case a passenger goes haywire.
